What this part is
The side buttons on the Motorola Moto G52 press against a thin flex cable inside the frame. If the flex tears, corrodes or wears out, the power key or the volume keys stop working, work only when pressed hard, or trigger on their own.
This flex carries the contacts for the power and volume buttons and connects to the main board. The plastic buttons themselves are part of the frame and are not included. If the phone does not respond after a new flex, the main board may be at fault.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Moto G52, not Moto G42. The model code is also shown there and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and open the phone carefully.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the covers and parts over the side flex, disconnect it and peel it away from the frame.
- Fit the new flex in the same position, reconnect it and the battery, then test the power and volume keys.
- Reseal the back cover with new adhesive and run a final check of all buttons.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Moto G52?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Moto G52. It does not fit the Moto G42, Moto G82, Moto G32.
Does it fit the Moto G42?
No. The Moto G42 is a different phone and uses different parts. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Are the plastic buttons included?
No. This is the flex cable with the button contacts. The plastic power and volume keys on the Moto G52 are part of the frame, so reuse your existing ones.
Is it made by Motorola?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality power & volume button flex cable made to fit the Motorola Moto G52, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Moto G52 has to be opened, the battery disconnected safely, and the flex positioned exactly under the buttons.
