The Moto G7 Power SIM tray slides into the side of the frame and holds your SIM card, and a microSD card, in the right place against the reader. A bent or broken tray can stop the phone reading the cards, or let dust into the slot.
The supplier lists it as a SIM card and microSD card tray. It is listed as the US version layout, so compare it with your old tray before ordering. Fitting it needs only the eject pin. If the phone still shows no SIM with a new tray, the SIM reader inside the phone may be damaged, and that is a separate repair.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Moto G7 Power, not Moto G7 or Moto G7 Play. The model number is also shown there and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push the eject pin into the small hole beside the tray on your Moto G7 Power and pull the old tray out.
- Place your nano-SIM (and microSD card if used) in the new tray, matching the cut corner.
- Slide the tray in the right way up and push gently until it sits flush.
- Power on and check the phone shows your network and the memory card.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
