What this part is
The loudspeaker in the Motorola Moto G9 sits at the bottom of the phone and plays ringtones, alarms, media and speakerphone calls. Water, dust and very loud playback can damage it, and the sound becomes distorted, crackly or stops completely.
This part replaces the loudspeaker unit only. The earpiece at the top of the phone, used for normal calls, is a separate part. Before ordering, check that the sound is not simply muted, set to Do Not Disturb or going to a Bluetooth device.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read moto g9.
The Moto G9 (India) is the same design as the Moto G9 Play. The Moto G9 Power and G9 Plus are different phones.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Motorola Moto G9 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Lift the back cover off with a plastic opening tool, working round the edge.
- Remove the screws holding the inner cover and lift it off.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Remove the screws holding the lower cover and lift out the old loudspeaker.
- Fit the new loudspeaker in the same position and refit the cover and screws.
- Reconnect the battery, reassemble and test ringtone, media and speakerphone.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Motorola Moto G9?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows moto g9. It does not fit the Moto G9 Power or Moto G9 Plus.
Does it fit the Moto G9 Play?
Yes. The Moto G9 sold in India and the Moto G9 Play use the same loudspeaker.
Will this fix sound on phone calls?
Only speakerphone calls. Normal calls held to your ear use the earpiece speaker at the top of the phone, which is a separate part.
Is it made by Motorola?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker made to fit the Motorola Moto G9, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Motorola Moto G9 has to be opened and the battery disconnected before the speaker is changed.
