What this part is
On the Nokia 3.1 the charging port sits on a small board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex connection. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port, and the phone stops charging reliably or only charges at an angle.
This is the complete board with the port already fitted, so no soldering is needed. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the Nokia 3.1 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the phone using the correct method for this model, with plastic tools and gentle heat where adhesive is used.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Unplug the flex connection from the old charging port board and remove its screws.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex firmly and refit the screws.
- Close the phone, reconnect power and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
