What this part is
On the Nokia 3 the charging port sits on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
The Nokia 3 (2017) charges through a micro-USB port on this board. This is the complete board with the port already fitted, so no soldering is needed. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Nokia 3.
The Nokia 3 is the 2017 model with a 5-inch screen. The Nokia 3.1, 3.2 and 3.4 are different phones.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Nokia 3 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the phone carefully with plastic opening tools, following the correct method for the Nokia model.
- Remove the screws and covers over the board you are replacing.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Unplug the flex cable, remove the screws and lift out the old charging port board.
- Fit the new board, reconnect its flex cable and refit the screws and covers.
- Reconnect the battery, power on and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Nokia 3?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Nokia 3. It does not fit the Nokia 3.1, Nokia 3.2 or Nokia 3.4.
Does it fit the Nokia 3.1?
No. The Nokia 3.1 is a newer, different phone with a different charging board. This part is for the 2017 Nokia 3 only.
Do I need to solder anything?
No. This is a complete board with the port already fitted. It connects with a flex cable and is held in place with screws.
Is it made by Nokia?

Should I fit it myself?
