What this part is
These are the physical keys that sit in the side of the OnePlus 8 frame and press on the switches inside. If a key falls out, sticks, rattles or is cracked, you can replace the keys without changing the internal flex cable.
This part is the outer buttons only. If the buttons are fitted but nothing happens when you press them, the switches on the internal flex cable may be faulty, and that is a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads OnePlus 8, not OnePlus 8 Pro. The model code is also shown there and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Open the phone following the correct method for this model and disconnect the battery.
- Remove any brackets that hold the old keys in the frame.
- Fit the new power and volume keys into the frame openings.
- Refit the brackets, reconnect the battery and test every key before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my 8?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows OnePlus 8. It does not fit the OnePlus 8 Pro or OnePlus 8T.
Does it fit the OnePlus 8 Pro?
No. The OnePlus 8 Pro is a different phone and uses a different part. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Is this the internal flex cable?
No. This part is the outer power and volume keys. If the keys press but the phone does not respond, the internal flex cable may need replacing instead.
Is it made by OnePlus?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality power and volume buttons made to fit the OnePlus 8, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The 8 must be opened, the battery disconnected safely and the part handled carefully.
