What this part is
On the OPPO A78, a thin flex cable carries the picture and touch signals between the main board and the screen. If it is torn, bent or corroded after a drop or water damage, the screen can go black, flicker or show lines even when the display itself is fine.
This part replaces that flex cable only, not the screen. If the glass is cracked or the display panel is damaged, you need a new screen instead. A technician can check which part is at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads OPPO A78. The model number is shown there too. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover and the screws holding the inner panels.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unplug the old display flex cable at both ends, lift it out and fit the new one in the same path without folding it sharply.
- Reconnect the battery and test the display and touch before closing.
- Refit the inner panels, screws and back cover.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. This flex cable is listed for the OPPO A78 4G. The A78 5G is a different phone.
Will this fix a cracked screen?
No. This is the flex cable that links the screen to the main board. A cracked or damaged screen needs a new screen assembly.

Should I fit it myself?
