What this part is
The charging port on the OPPO Find X5 wears with daily plugging in, and lint, moisture or a bent cable can damage the pins. When that happens the phone may stop charging, charge only when the cable is held, or not be seen by a computer.
This part is the charging port connector. It is the connector itself, which is soldered to the board, so fitting needs micro-soldering skills. If the phone still will not charge with a new port and a good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone (called About device on some versions) and check the model name reads Find X5, not Find X5 Pro. The model code is also shown there and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover (warm it first if it is glued) and open the phone carefully.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the parts covering the main board and take the board out.
- Desolder the old connector and solder the new one in place with care.
- Refit the board, reconnect the battery and test charging and data.
- Reseal the back cover with new adhesive and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Find X5?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Find X5. It does not fit the Find X5 Pro or Find X5 Lite.
Does it fit the Find X5 Pro?
No. The Find X5 Pro is a different phone and uses different parts. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Is this a board or just the connector?
It is just the charging connector. On the Find X5 it is soldered to the main board, so a technician with micro-soldering tools should fit it.
Is it made by OPPO?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port connector made to fit the OPPO Find X5, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Find X5 has to be opened, the battery disconnected safely and the connector soldered in place.
