What this part is
The Samsung Galaxy A20 display is one bonded unit: the cover glass, touch digitiser and display panel cannot be separated. If the glass is cracked, touch stops responding, or the picture shows lines or black patches, the whole assembly needs replacing.
This version is the screen assembly only, without a frame. It is bonded to the existing mid-frame with new adhesive. The Galaxy A20 was sold with a Super AMOLED screen. This is an LCD replacement, so brightness, colour and black levels may differ from the screen it came with. The A20 fingerprint sensor is on the back, so it is not affected.

Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A20. The model number (SM-A205) is shown under Settings › About phone and on the label or box.
The Galaxy A20 has a 6.4-inch screen with a small notch and two rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the A20 and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the phone and disconnect the battery before touching the display flex.
- Remove the damaged screen and clean all old adhesive from the frame.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness before bonding.
- Apply new adhesive, seat the screen and press evenly while it cures.
- Run a final check: display, touch, calls, speakers, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my A20?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A20 and the model number starts SM-A205.
Does it fit the Galaxy A20e or A20s?
No. The A20e is a smaller phone and the A20s has a different screen. This part fits the Galaxy A20 (SM-A205) only.
Why is this LCD cheaper than the Super AMOLED version?
LCD panels cost less to make. The picture is sharp and touch works normally, but blacks are less deep and the screen may look slightly different to the Super AMOLED screen the A20 shipped with.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality LCD assembly made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A20, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening the A20 needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
