What this part is
The Galaxy A02 display is one bonded part. The cover glass, touch digitiser and LCD panel cannot be separated, so cracked glass, dead touch or a picture with lines means the whole assembly is replaced.
This is the LCD screen and digitiser on its own, without a frame. It fits into your Galaxy A02's existing frame once the old screen and adhesive are removed. The A02 shipped with an LCD screen, so this is the same display type.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model number starts with SM-. It should read SM-A022.
The A02 has a 6.5-inch screen. Check the model carefully, because the A02s has a very similar name.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, remove the SIM tray and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the old screen out slowly with a thin pick and suction cup.
- Disconnect the battery before unplugging the display flex cable.
- Clean all old adhesive from the frame and check the frame is not bent.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, seat the screen and press evenly, then check calls, speakers and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A02?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows the Galaxy A02 with model number SM-A022. It does not fit the Galaxy A02s, Galaxy A03 or Galaxy A12.
Does it fit the Galaxy A02s?
No. The A02s (SM-A025) has a different screen and connector. This listing is for the A02 (SM-A022) only.
Does it come with a frame?
No. This is the LCD screen and digitiser only. Your existing frame is reused, so the old screen and adhesive must be removed cleanly first.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality LCD screen assembly made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A02, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening a Galaxy A02 needs heat, thin tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
