What this part is
A cracked or dead Galaxy A50 screen means replacing the whole bonded assembly of glass, touch layer and display. This version arrives already fitted to a new mid-frame.
With a framed screen, the technician moves the battery, boards and small parts into the new frame instead of heating and prising the old screen off. This lowers the risk of damage and gives a flat, even finish, which helps when the old frame is bent or scuffed. It uses an LCD panel, so the fingerprint sensor under the display usually will not work. Face recognition, PIN and pattern unlock still work.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A50. The model number should start SM-A505, such as SM-A505FN.
The Galaxy A50 has a 6.4-inch screen and three rear cameras. The Galaxy A50s (SM-A507) is a different phone.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, remove the SIM tray and warm the back cover to lift it off.
- Remove the screws and covers, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Move the battery, main board, charging port board, cameras and small parts into the new frame.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness before closing.
- Refit the covers, screws and back cover with fresh adhesive, and press evenly.
- Run a final check: display, touch, calls, speakers, cameras, fingerprint and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A50?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A50 with a model number starting SM-A505. It does not fit the Galaxy A50s or Galaxy A30s.
Does it fit the Galaxy A50s?
No. The Galaxy A50s (SM-A507) has a different frame and screen. This framed assembly is for the Galaxy A50 only.
Why choose the version with a frame?
The screen comes already fixed to a new mid-frame. The internal parts are moved across, so the old screen does not have to be prised off. It is usually quicker and gives a neater finish, especially if the old frame is bent.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality LCD assembly made to fit the Galaxy A50, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Replacing the Galaxy A50 screen needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
