What this part is
The Samsung Galaxy A30 display is one bonded unit: the cover glass, touch digitiser and display panel cannot be separated. If the glass is cracked, touch stops responding, or the picture shows lines or black patches, the whole assembly needs replacing.
This version comes pre-fitted to a new mid-frame. The technician moves the battery, main board and small parts into the new frame, so the screen never has to be separated from the old frame. The Galaxy A30 was sold with a Super AMOLED screen. This is an LCD replacement, so brightness, colour and black levels may differ from the screen it came with. The A30 fingerprint sensor is on the back, so it is not affected.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A30. The model number (SM-A305) is shown under Settings › About phone and on the label or box.
The Galaxy A30 has a 6.4-inch screen, two rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back. The A30s has three rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the A30, remove the SIM tray and warm the back cover to soften the adhesive.
- Lift off the back cover and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Move the battery, main board, cameras, charging board and small parts into the new frame.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness before closing.
- Refit the back cover with new adhesive and press evenly while it cures.
- Run a final check: display, touch, calls, speakers, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my A30?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A30 and the model number starts SM-A305.
Does it fit the Galaxy A30s?
No. The A30s (SM-A307) has an in-screen fingerprint sensor and a different screen. This assembly is for the Galaxy A30 (SM-A305).
Why is the frame included?
The screen is supplied bonded to a new mid-frame, so the fragile panel never has to be prised off the old frame. The phone's parts move into the new frame.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality LCD assembly made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A30, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening the A30 needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
