What this part is
This Galaxy A72 4G screen comes ready fitted to a new mid-frame. Instead of prising a glued screen off the old frame, the technician moves the battery, boards, cameras and speaker into the new one. It is often quicker and leaves a clean, flat finish.
The panel is an LCD. The A72 shipped with a Super AMOLED screen and an optical fingerprint sensor under the display, which usually cannot read through an LCD. Expect to use face recognition, PIN or pattern instead. Colours and brightness may also differ slightly.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model number should start SM-A725 (4G). The 5G version starts SM-A726.
The A72 has a 6.7-inch screen, a centred punch-hole camera and four rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, warm the back cover and lift it off.
- Disconnect the battery, then release every flex cable.
- Transfer the battery, main board, sub-board, cameras and speaker to the new frame.
- Connect the screen and test display and touch before closing.
- Fit new adhesive and press the back cover into place.
- Check calls, speakers, cameras and charging before handing it back.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Galaxy A72?
Yes, if your model number starts SM-A725 (the 4G model). It does not fit the A72 5G (SM-A726).
Does it fit the Galaxy A72 5G?
No. The framed part differs between the 4G and 5G versions. This one is for SM-A725 only.
Will the fingerprint sensor under the screen work?
It may not. This is an LCD, and the A72's optical fingerprint sensor needs an OLED screen to read through. Face recognition, PIN and pattern still work.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality LCD screen assembly with frame made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. A frame swap means moving the battery and boards, so the right tools and care are needed.
