Overview
What this part is
On these Samsung Galaxy phones the cover glass, touch digitiser and display are bonded into one part. A crack, dead touch or a picture with lines or black patches means the whole assembly is replaced.
This is the screen assembly only, without a frame. The old screen is removed and the new one is bonded into your existing frame with fresh adhesive. Several of these phones were sold with AMOLED screens. On those models an LCD may look different, and an in-display fingerprint sensor may not work with it. The screens are not interchangeable between models, even when the phones look alike.

- Touch stops working in some areas
How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. Note the model name and the model number, which starts SM-. Pick the variant with the same model number.
The A55, A35 and S20 FE have in-display fingerprint sensors, which may not work with an LCD.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Choose the variant that matches your exact model number before ordering.
- Power the phone off, open it and disconnect the battery before the display flex.
- Warm the screen edges and lift the old screen out of the frame.
- Clean all old adhesive from the frame and fit new adhesive.
- Connect the new screen and test display and touch before pressing it into place.
- Close the phone and check calls, speakers, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Galaxy A55?
Yes, if you choose the A55 variant and your model number is SM-A556B. Every model has its own variant.
Does the A23 4G variant fit the A23 5G?
No. Only the Galaxy A23 4G (SM-A235F) is listed here. Choose the variant that matches your model number exactly.
Why is there no frame?
This is the screen assembly only. It is cheaper than the with-frame version, but the old screen must be removed and the new one bonded into your existing frame.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. Each screen is a brand new, OEM-quality LCD assembly made to fit the model named in the variant, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. These phones need heat, the right tools and new adhesive to open, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day from Manchester by Royal Mail Tracked. Delivery is free on UK orders from £5. Returns are accepted within 30 days from receipt.
