The Google Pixel 4a (5G) has a 6.2-inch OLED screen with a punch-hole front camera. The glass, touch layer and panel are bonded together, so a cracked or dead display means replacing the whole assembly.
This is a brand new OLED screen and digitiser made to fit the Pixel 4a (5G). The fingerprint sensor on this phone is on the back, so it is not affected by a screen change. The Pixel 4a (4G) is a smaller phone and needs a different screen.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 4a (5G), not Pixel 4a or Pixel 5. The model code is also printed on the box.
The Pixel 4a (5G) has a 6.2-inch screen and two rear cameras. The Pixel 4a (4G) is smaller, with a 5.8-inch screen and one rear camera.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the display carefully from the edge, taking care not to tear the display cable.
- Disconnect the battery, then disconnect and remove the old screen.
- Connect the new screen and test display and touch before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, fit the screen and press evenly while it cures.
- Run a final check: display, touch, calls, speakers and cameras.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
