What this part is
The Galaxy A50 screen is a Super AMOLED panel bonded to the glass and touch layer. When it cracks, goes black or stops responding to touch, the full assembly is replaced.
This version comes with the frame already fitted, which makes the repair simpler than fitting a bare panel. The battery, boards and small parts move into the new frame. The A50 reads fingerprints through the screen, so register your fingerprints again once the repair is done.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model number should start SM-A505. SM-A507 is the Galaxy A50s, which needs a different screen.
The Galaxy A50 has a 6.4-inch screen with a small notch and three rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Galaxy A50 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm and remove the back cover, then disconnect the battery.
- Move the battery, boards, cameras and small parts into the new frame.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness.
- Refit the back cover with new adhesive.
- Re-register your fingerprints and check calls, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
