What this part is
The Samsung Galaxy A04e display is one bonded unit: the cover glass, touch digitiser and LCD panel cannot be separated. If the glass is cracked, touch stops responding, or the picture shows lines, flicker or black patches, the whole assembly needs replacing. The Galaxy A04e came with an LCD screen, so this replacement is the same display type.
This version is the screen assembly only, without a frame. The old screen is removed from the existing frame, the frame is cleaned, and the new screen is bonded in with fresh adhesive.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A04e. The model number should start SM-A042.
The Galaxy A04e is a different phone from the Galaxy A04 (SM-A045) and Galaxy A04s (SM-A047). Check the letter after A04.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, remove the back cover and disconnect the battery.
- Warm the screen edges and lift the old screen away from the frame.
- Clean all old adhesive and glass fragments from the frame.
- Route the new screen flex, connect it and test display and touch before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, press the screen into place and let the adhesive cure.
- Reconnect everything and run a final check: display, touch, calls, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A04e?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A04e with model number SM-A042. It does not fit the Galaxy A04, Galaxy A04s, Galaxy A03 or any other model.
Does it fit the Galaxy A04s?
No. The Galaxy A04s (SM-A047) uses a different screen. This screen is for the Galaxy A04e (SM-A042) only.
Will the screen come with a frame?
No. This is the screen assembly only. It is bonded into your existing frame with new adhesive.
Is it made by Samsung?
