What this part is
The power button on the Realme 6 presses against a thin flex cable inside the frame. If the flex tears, corrodes or wears out, the button stops working, works only when pressed hard, or triggers on its own.
This flex carries the contacts for the power button and connects to the main board. The plastic button cap is part of the frame and is not included. If the phone still does not respond after a new flex, the main board may be at fault.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone (called About device on some versions) and check the model name reads Realme 6, not Realme 6 Pro. The model code RMX2001 is also printed on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover (warm it first if it is glued) and open the phone carefully.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the parts over the side flex, disconnect it and peel it away from the frame.
- Fit the new flex in the same position, reconnect it and the battery, then test the button.
- Refit the back cover and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Realme 6?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Realme 6 (model RMX2001). It does not fit the Realme 6 Pro, Realme 6i or Realme 6s.
Does it fit the Realme 6 Pro?
No. The Realme 6 Pro is a different phone and uses different parts. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Is the plastic button included?
No. This is the flex cable with the button contacts. Reuse the plastic button on your Realme 6.
Is it made by Realme?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality power button flex cable made to fit the Realme 6, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Realme 6 has to be opened, the battery disconnected safely, and the flex lined up exactly under the button.
