The loudspeaker on the Samsung Galaxy A12 sits at the bottom of the phone and plays ringtones, alarms, music and speakerphone calls. Dust, liquid and loud use can damage the speaker, leaving the sound quiet, rattling or gone.
This speaker comes as a module with its cover, so it drops straight into place. Before ordering, clean the speaker grille gently and check the volume and Do Not Disturb settings. The earpiece used for normal calls is a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A12 and the model number should start SM-A125F. Samsung model numbers begin SM-.
This part does not fit the Galaxy A12 Nacho (SM-A127F), Galaxy A11, Galaxy A13. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges gently and lift it off with a plastic pick.
- Remove the screws and inner cover, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the old loudspeaker module from the bottom of the phone.
- Fit the new module in the same place, reconnect the battery and test ringtones, music and speakerphone before closing.
- Refit the inner cover and screws, then refit the back cover with fresh adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The Galaxy A12 Nacho (SM-A127F) is a different model with a different internal layout. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Will it fix quiet calls?
Only on speakerphone. If you cannot hear the caller with the phone at your ear, the earpiece speaker is the part you need.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A12, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back of the Galaxy A12 has to be removed and the battery disconnected before the speaker is changed.
