What this part is
On the Samsung Galaxy A14, the power key and the volume up and down keys press against small switches on a thin flex cable inside the side of the phone. Drops, pressure in a pocket and moisture can crack the flex or wear out a switch. The button may then feel flat, stop working, or turn the phone off or change the volume on its own.
The Galaxy A14 4G was launched in 2023 and has a 6.6-inch screen. Before ordering, remove any tight case and restart the phone, because a pressing case or a software freeze can look like a button fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A14. The model number (it starts SM-) should be SM-A145.
The Galaxy A14 4G and Galaxy A14 5G look very similar. Check the model number: this part is for the SM-A145.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off. Warm the back cover gently and lift it off.
- Remove the screws and the plastic cover over the main board.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unclip the old side key flex and peel it away from the frame.
- Fit the new flex so each switch sits behind its button, then reconnect it.
- Reconnect the battery and test power, volume up and volume down before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A14?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A14 with model number SM-A145. It does not fit the Galaxy A14 5G or Galaxy A15.
Does it fit the Galaxy A14 5G?
No. The Galaxy A14 5G (SM-A146) has a different internal layout and its own side key flex. We sell a separate flex for it.
Why do the side keys stop working?
The switches on this flex are tiny and sit right behind the buttons. A drop on the side of the phone or constant pressure from a tight case can crack the flex or wear out a switch.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality flex cable made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
