What this part is
The Samsung Galaxy A20s has its fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. The sensor button connects to the main board with a short flex cable. A crack, deep scratch or liquid damage can stop it reading your finger, and a torn flex stops it working at all.
After fitting, delete your old fingerprints and register them again in Settings. Choose the colour that matches your back cover. Your PIN, pattern or password still unlocks the phone during the repair.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A20s and the model number should start SM-A207F. Samsung model numbers begin SM-.
This part does not fit the Galaxy A20, Galaxy A20e, Galaxy A10s. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges gently and lift it off with a plastic pick.
- Remove the screws and inner cover, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Unplug the fingerprint flex, then free the old sensor from the back cover or frame.
- Fit the new sensor in the same position, reconnect the flex and the battery, then register a fingerprint to test before closing.
- Refit the inner cover and screws, then refit the back cover with fresh adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A20s?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A20s and the model code SM-A207F. It does not fit the Galaxy A20, Galaxy A20e, Galaxy A10s.
Does it fit the Galaxy A20?
No. The Galaxy A20 is a different model with a different internal layout. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Do I need to register my fingerprints again?
Yes. Delete the old fingerprints and add them again in Settings › Biometrics and security after fitting. Your PIN, pattern or password is not affected.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality fingerprint sensor flex cable made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A20s, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back cover of the Galaxy A20s has to be removed with heat, and the battery must be disconnected before the flex is unplugged.
