What this part is
On the Samsung Galaxy A22 4G the USB-C charging port is mounted on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone. The board connects to the main board with a flex cable. A worn or bent port, corrosion or a damaged board can stop the phone charging or connecting to a computer.
This part replaces the whole charging board with its IC chip already fitted. On many Galaxy A models this board also carries the main microphone, so check calls after fitting. Try a known-good cable and charger first, and clean lint out of the port, before replacing it.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A22 4G, not Galaxy A22 5G. Samsung model numbers start SM-.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges gently and lift the back cover off with a thin pick.
- Remove the screws and inner cover, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the bottom inner cover, unplug the flex cables and lift the old charging board out.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex cables and the battery, then test charging and the microphone.
- Refit the covers and screws, then fit the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
