How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A30 and the model number should start SM-A305, not Galaxy A30s. Samsung model numbers start SM-.
The Galaxy A30 (SM-A305F) and Galaxy A30s (SM-A307F) are different phones with different internal parts.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Insert a SIM ejector pin into the small hole beside the tray and push gently.
- Pull the old tray out, or check the slot is empty and clean.
- Place the SIM and microSD cards in the new tray with the gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in straight until it sits flush.
- Power on and check the phone reads both cards.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
