What this part is
On the Galaxy A36 the USB-C port sits on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone, connected to the main board by a flex cable. Worn contacts, bent pins or liquid damage in the port cause charging and data problems, and replacing the board is the clean fix.
Before you order, clean the port gently with a wooden or plastic pick and try a different cable and plug. If the phone still will not charge, this board is the usual repair. On many Samsung models the main microphone is also on this board, so test calls after fitting.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A36 and the model number should start SM-A366B. It must not be the Galaxy A35 or Galaxy A56.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges and lift it off carefully with a thin pick.
- Remove the screws and plastic cover plate, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the loudspeaker module and unplug the flex cables from the old charging board.
- Unscrew and lift out the old board, then fit the new one in the same position.
- Reconnect the flex cables and battery, and test charging, USB data and the microphone before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A36?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A36 (model SM-A366B). It does not fit the Galaxy A35 or Galaxy A56.
Does it fit the Galaxy A35?
No. The Galaxy A35 is a different phone and its parts are not the same. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Does the microphone come on this board?
On many Samsung Galaxy A models the main microphone sits on the charging board. Compare the photos with your old board, and test calls after fitting.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A36, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Galaxy A36 back cover needs heat and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely before the board is changed.
