Inside the Galaxy A50, a long flex cable joins the main board at the top to the lower board with the charging port. Our supplier supplies it together with the display (LCD) flex cable. A torn or burnt flex can cause charging, touch, microphone or screen connection problems.
These faults can also come from the screen or the charging board, so check with a technician first. Compare your old flex cables with the photos before ordering, and handle the new flex carefully, as it is thin and folds easily.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy A50 and the model number should start SM-A505F. It must not be the Galaxy A50s or Galaxy A51.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges and lift it off carefully with a thin pick.
- Remove the screws and plastic cover plate, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Unplug the old flex cables from the main board and lower board and peel them away.
- Lay the new flex cables in the same path and plug each end in firmly.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging, touch, display and microphone before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A50?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A50 (model SM-A505F). It does not fit the Galaxy A50s or Galaxy A51.
Does it fit the Galaxy A50s?
No. The Galaxy A50s is a different phone and its parts are not the same. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Does this include the screen?
No. This is the flex cable only. If the screen glass or display is broken, a full screen replacement is needed.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality main board and display flex cable made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A50, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
