What this part is
The Galaxy A51 front camera sits behind a small hole in the top of the screen and is used for selfies, video calls and face recognition. A drop or moisture can leave it blurred, spotted, black or showing a 'camera failed' message.
This part is the front camera module only. Clean the screen over the lens and restart the phone first. If the selfie camera still fails, the module is the likely fault. If the screen glass over the camera is cracked, the screen needs replacing instead.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy A51. The model number is shown there too and should start SM-A515F. Compare your old front camera with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and the upper panel, then disconnect the battery.
- Unplug the old front camera, lift it out and seat the new one in the same position.
- Reconnect the battery and test photos and video on the front camera before closing.
- Refit the panel and screws, then fit the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy A51?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy A51 (model SM-A515F). It does not fit the Galaxy A51 5G, A52, A50, A71.
Does it fit the Galaxy A51 5G?
The supplier lists this camera for the Galaxy A51 (SM-A515F) only. The A51 5G (SM-A516B) is a different phone, so compare your old camera with the photos before ordering.
Will face recognition work after fitting?
Face recognition on this phone uses the front camera, so it should work once the new camera is fitted. You may need to register your face again in Settings. Your PIN, pattern and fingerprint are not affected.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality front camera made to fit the Samsung Galaxy A51, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back cover of a Galaxy A51 is glued, so it needs gentle heat and a thin pry tool, the battery must be disconnected first, and small flex cables are easy to damage.
