What this part is
The Samsung Galaxy A70 has its front camera in the small notch at the top of the screen. The module plugs into the main board on a short flex cable, and a drop or moisture can leave it dead or giving a poor picture.
Before ordering, restart the phone and clear the Camera app's cache in Settings › Apps. If the front camera still fails while the rear cameras work, the module is usually the fault. Glass damage over the notch is part of the screen and is not fixed by this part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy A70. The model number should start SM-A705. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover evenly to soften the adhesive, then lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and inner panel, then disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unplug the front camera connector, lift the old module out and seat the new one in the same place.
- Reconnect the battery and test the selfie camera in photo and video mode.
- Refit the inner panel and screws, then seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will it fix a crack over the selfie camera?
No. The glass over the front camera is part of the screen. If the glass is cracked there, the screen needs replacing instead.

Should I fit it myself?
