The side buttons on the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G are outer caps that sit in the frame and press on switches inside. After a drop a cap can fall out, bend or stick, so pressing it no longer feels right.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy A90 5G. The model number should start SM-A908. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover evenly to soften the adhesive, then lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and inner panel, then disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the old button caps from inside the frame and fit the new ones.
- Reconnect the battery and test power, volume up and volume down.
- Refit the inner parts and seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
