The Galaxy Note 10+ has its selfie camera in a small punch hole at the top centre of the screen. The module sits behind the display and is reached from the back of the phone. A drop or water can leave it showing a black image, failing to focus or giving a “Camera failed” message.
This camera is listed for the US version of the Note 10+ (SM-N975U). UK phones are usually SM-N975F or SM-N976B, so check your model number and compare your old camera with the photos before fitting.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy Note 10+. The model number should start SM-N975. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover evenly to soften the adhesive, then lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and inner panel, then disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Disconnect and lift out the front camera module, taking care not to touch the lens.
- Fit the new camera in the same position, reconnect it and the battery, then test selfies and video before closing.
- Refit the inner panel and screws, then seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
