What this part is
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 plays ringtones, music and speakerphone calls through its loudspeaker module at the bottom of the phone. Water, dust or a drop can damage it, and the sound becomes crackly, distorted, very quiet or stops completely.
Before replacing it, clean the speaker grille gently with a soft dry brush and check the volume settings and Bluetooth connections. If sound is still poor, a new module is the likely fix. This part does not change the earpiece used for normal calls.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy Note 20. The model number should start SM-N98. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy Note 20 has a flat 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen and three rear cameras. The Note 20 Ultra is larger, with a curved 6.9-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover evenly to soften the adhesive, then lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and inner panel, then disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the bottom loudspeaker module and check the contacts on the board are clean.
- Fit the new module, reconnect the battery and test ringtones, media and speakerphone before closing.
- Refit the inner panel and screws, then seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy Note 20?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy Note 20 (model SM-N980F or SM-N981B). It does not fit the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Note 10+, S20.
Does it fit the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra?
No. The Note 20 Ultra is a larger phone with different internal parts. Only order this for the standard Galaxy Note 20.
Will this fix the sound on calls?
Only if you use speakerphone. Normal call audio comes from the earpiece speaker at the top, which is a separate part.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker module made to fit the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back cover is glued in place and needs gentle heat, and the battery must be disconnected before the speaker is removed.
