If photos are hazy only because the outer glass is cracked, a lens cover is the cheaper fix. If the camera app shows a black screen, will not focus or reports a camera error, the module is the likely fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the model number should start SM-N985 or SM-N986. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a curved 6.9-inch screen and a large camera block with three cameras and a laser focus sensor. The standard Note 20 has a flat 6.7-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and the upper inner panel, then disconnect the battery.
- Unplug the old camera module and lift it out.
- Fit the new module, reconnect it and the battery, and test every camera mode.
- Refit the inner panels and seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
