This is the front (selfie) camera module for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It sits at the top of the phone above the screen. Drops and moisture can make it show a black screen, blurry pictures or a camera error.
If only the rear camera fails, this is not the right part. Switch between cameras in the camera app to check which one is faulty before ordering.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy Note 8 and the model number should start SM-N950. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy Note 8 has a curved 6.3-inch screen, two rear cameras side by side and the fingerprint sensor next to the cameras. The Note 9 has its fingerprint sensor below the cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and the upper inner panel, then disconnect the battery.
- Unplug the old front camera and lift it out.
- Fit the new camera, reconnect it and the battery, and test the front camera.
- Refit the inner panels and seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Note 8?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy Note 8 (model SM-N950F or SM-N9500). It does not fit the Galaxy Note 9, Note FE, S8+.
Does it fit the Galaxy Note 9?
No. The Note 9 looks similar but has a different internal layout. This part is for the Galaxy Note 8 only.
How do I know it is the front camera?
Open the camera app and switch between front and rear. If only the front camera shows a black screen or error, the front camera module is the likely fault.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality front camera made to fit the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Note 8 back cover is glued on and needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected first.
