What this part is
On the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the power button is on the right side and presses on a switch on this flex cable. Wear, drops and moisture can make the switch fail, so the screen will not wake or the phone will not turn on or off.
If the outer key is missing or broken but the switch still clicks, you need new outer keys, not this flex. Check the button is not stuck under a case first.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy Note 9 and the model number should start SM-N960. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy Note 9 has a curved 6.4-inch screen, two rear cameras side by side and the fingerprint sensor below the cameras. The Note 8 has its fingerprint sensor next to the cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Disconnect the battery and move aside any parts blocking the side of the frame.
- Remove the old power flex and fit the new one in the same place.
- Reconnect the battery and check the power button wakes and locks the screen.
- Refit the inner panels and seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Note 9?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy Note 9 (model SM-N960F). It does not fit the Galaxy Note 8, Note 10, S9+.
Does it fit the Galaxy Note 8?
No. The Note 8 looks similar but has a different internal layout. This part is for the Galaxy Note 9 only.
How can I turn the phone on if the button fails?
Plugging in a charger often shows the charging screen. Once the phone is on, you can use features such as double tap to wake if available. The flex should still be replaced.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality power button flex cable made to fit the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Note 9 back cover is glued on and needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected first.
