This is the rear (back) camera module for the US version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960U). The Note 9 has two rear cameras side by side. Drops and moisture can make it show a black screen, fail to focus or report a camera error.
EU and UK phones (SM-N960F) use a different camera module, so check your model number before ordering. If photos are hazy only because the outer glass is cracked, a lens cover is the cheaper fix.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy Note 9 and the model number should start SM-N960. This part is for the US version SM-N960U. UK phones are usually SM-N960F. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy Note 9 has a curved 6.4-inch screen, two rear cameras side by side and the fingerprint sensor below the cameras. The Note 8 has its fingerprint sensor next to the cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and the upper inner panel, then disconnect the battery.
- Unplug the old camera module and lift it out.
- Fit the new module, reconnect it and the battery, and test both rear cameras.
- Refit the inner panels and seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Note 9?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy Note 9 US version (model SM-N960U). It does not fit the Galaxy Note 9 SM-N960F, Note 8, Note 10.
Does it fit the Galaxy Note 8?
No. The Note 8 looks similar but has a different internal layout. This part is for the Galaxy Note 9 only.
Does it fit a UK Note 9 (SM-N960F)?
This module is listed for the US version (SM-N960U). UK and EU phones (SM-N960F) use a different module, so check your model number first.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality rear camera made to fit the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 US version, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Note 9 back cover is glued on and needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected first.
