How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy S20 and the model number should start SM-G980 or SM-G981. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy S20 has a 6.2-inch screen and three rear cameras. The S20+ is larger at 6.7 inches, and the S20 FE has a flat 6.5-inch screen.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, open it and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the main board from the phone.
- Preheat the board and remove the damaged connector with hot air, shielding nearby parts.
- Clean the pads, align the new connector and solder it in place.
- Check the pins under a microscope for bridges or open joints.
- Refit the board, connect a screen and test display and touch before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my S20?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy S20 (model SM-G980F or SM-G981B). It does not fit the Galaxy S20+, S20 Ultra, S20 FE, S21.
Does it fit the Galaxy S20 FE?
No. The S20 FE is a different phone with a flat screen and a different internal layout. This part is for the Galaxy S20 only.
Is this a cable or a socket?
It is the socket (FPC connector) that sits on the main board, not a flex cable. It must be soldered on, so it is for technicians with micro-soldering tools.
Is it made by Samsung?
