How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy S20 and the model number should start SM-G980 or SM-G981. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy S20 has a 6.2-inch screen and three rear cameras. The S20+ is larger at 6.7 inches, and the S20 FE has a flat 6.5-inch screen.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and the lower inner panel.
- Disconnect the battery, then lift out the old loudspeaker.
- Fit the new loudspeaker and reconnect the battery.
- Play a sound to test it, then refit the panel and seal the back cover.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my S20?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy S20 (model SM-G980F or SM-G981B). It does not fit the Galaxy S20+, S20 Ultra, S20 FE, S21.
Does it fit the Galaxy S20 FE?
No. The S20 FE is a different phone with a flat screen and a different internal layout. This part is for the Galaxy S20 only.
How do I know the speaker is faulty?
Play music with the volume up and headphones unplugged. If it crackles or is silent after cleaning the grille, the loudspeaker is the likely fault.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker made to fit the Samsung Galaxy S20, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The S20 back cover is glued on and needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected first.
