This is the front (selfie) camera module for the US versions of the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ (SM-G981U and SM-G986U). It sits behind the small hole at the top centre of the screen. Drops and moisture can make it show a black screen, blurry pictures or a camera error.
UK and EU phones (SM-G980F, SM-G981B, SM-G985F, SM-G986B) may use a different module, so compare with the photos if your model number does not end in U.

Is this the right part?

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ and the model number should be SM-G981U or SM-G986U (US versions). Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy S20 has a 6.2-inch screen and the S20+ a 6.7-inch screen. The S20 Ultra and S20 FE use different parts.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and the upper inner panel, then disconnect the battery.
- Unplug the old front camera and lift it out.
- Fit the new camera, reconnect it and the battery, and test the front camera.
- Refit the inner panels and seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my S20?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy S20 / S20+ US version (model SM-G981U or SM-G986U). It does not fit the Galaxy S20 Ultra, S20 FE, S21.
Does it fit the Galaxy S20 Ultra?
No. The S20 Ultra uses a different front camera. This part is for the US Galaxy S20 and S20+ only.
Does it fit a UK S20 (SM-G980F or SM-G981B)?
It is listed for the US versions (SM-G981U and SM-G986U). UK and EU versions may use a different module, so compare your old part with the photos first.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality front camera made to fit the Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ US version, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The S20 back cover is glued on and needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected first.
