What this part is
On the Galaxy S21+, the rear cameras sit behind a glass lens cover. When that glass cracks, photos look soft, hazy or streaked with light, and dust can reach the camera windows.
Replacing the lens cover is a small job compared to replacing a camera. The cover is held with adhesive, so the old glass is removed, the area cleaned and the new cover pressed in. If photos are still blurry after a new cover, the camera module itself may be damaged. The Galaxy S21 camera housing is smaller, so its lens cover is a different size.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy S21+ and the model number should be SM-G996B (UK models start SM-). Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and clean the area around the camera bump.
- Warm the old lens cover gently to soften its adhesive.
- Lift out the broken glass with a thin pick, removing every fragment and old adhesive.
- Wipe the camera windows with a lint-free cloth so no dust is trapped.
- Peel the backing from the new cover, line it up and press it into place.
- Open the camera app and check each rear camera on your Galaxy S21+ is clear.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
