Overview
What this part is
Samsung phones use a flex cable to carry power and signals between the main board and the lower board. When it tears, gets pinched during a repair or corrodes, you can lose charging, display, signal or sound.
The flex is different for each model in this listing. Select your model from the options and check the model number in Settings before ordering. Test for other causes first, as a worn charging port or battery can give the same symptoms.

Signs it needs replacing
- No charging after a screen or battery repair
- The screen is black but the phone rings
- Signal or sound cut out at random
- The flex is torn or has a burn mark
How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and read the Model name and Model number. Then choose the matching option, for example SM-S901B for the Galaxy S22 or SM-A536B for the Galaxy A53 5G.
The S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra look alike but each needs its own flex. The Galaxy S22+ model number is not shown in the options, so check it in Settings.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back cover carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the screws and covers to reach both ends of the connector flex.
- Unclip the old flex and fit the new one in the same route, pressing both ends home.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging, display, touch, signal and sound before closing.
- Fit new back cover adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
