Overview
What this part is
In the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the motherboard sits near the cameras and a lower board sits by the USB-C port and S Pen slot. The main flex runs between them, carrying charging, data and other signals.
A damaged main flex can cause no charging, no touch or display, missing sound from the bottom of the phone, or random restarts. The same symptoms can come from other parts, so it is worth having the phone checked by a technician first. Fitting needs the back glass removed and care with small connectors.

Before you order
Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing
- The phone stopped charging after a repair or drop, and the port is fine
- Parts connected to the lower board stopped working at the same time
- The phone restarts when pressure is put on the back
- A technician found the main flex torn or its connector damaged
How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the model number should start SM-S908B. The model number is also printed on the phone's box.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.8-inch curved screen, a built-in S Pen and four rear cameras. The S23 Ultra looks very similar, so always check the model code.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass off and remove the screws and covers over both ends of the flex.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unclip both ends of the old flex and peel it gently from the frame.
- Fit the new flex along the same path, press each connector home and reconnect the battery.
- Test charging, display, touch and sound, then refit the covers and seal the back glass.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Galaxy S22 Ultra?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy S22 Ultra and the model number starts SM-S908B.
Does it fit the Galaxy S23 Ultra?
No. The Galaxy S23 Ultra (SM-S918B) has a different layout and uses a different flex.
Will this fix a phone that will not turn on?
Only if the main flex is the cause. A phone that will not power on can also have a battery, charging port or motherboard fault, so have it diagnosed first.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality motherboard connector flex cable made to fit the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Galaxy S22 Ultra back glass is glued on, and the flex connectors are small and easy to damage if forced.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day from Manchester by Royal Mail Tracked. Delivery is free on UK orders from £5.
