What this part is
On the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the side key and the volume up and down buttons press onto small switches on a flex cable inside the frame. Drops, liquid or wear can break these switches, so a button stops clicking, stops responding or triggers on its own.
This part replaces the flex cable with its switches. It does not replace the metal button caps on the outside of the frame. If a button cap is bent or missing, that needs a separate repair.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The name should read Galaxy S23 Ultra, and the model number should start SM-S918B (a /DS ending just means dual SIM). The model number is also on the box.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 6.8-inch screen and a built-in S Pen. It looks close to the S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra, but the internal parts differ.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Back up the phone and power it off.
- Warm the back glass and lift it carefully with a thin pick.
- Remove the cover plates and disconnect the battery.
- Release the old button flex from the frame and unclip its connector.
- Fit the new flex so each switch lines up with its button, then reconnect it.
- Reconnect the battery, test every button, then refit the covers and back glass.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy S23 Ultra?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy S23 Ultra with a model number starting SM-S918B. It does not fit the Galaxy S22 Ultra or Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Does it fit the Galaxy S22 Ultra?
No. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a different frame and button layout.
Does it include the outer buttons?
No. This is the internal flex cable with the switches. The metal button caps stay in the frame.
