The SIM card tray on the Galaxy S26+ slides into the edge of the phone and holds a nano-SIM card. It also helps seal the slot. A bent or cracked tray can stop the SIM from being read, and a missing tray leaves the slot open to dust and moisture.
This is a simple swap: push the ejector pin into the small hole to release the old tray, then slide the new one in. No heat or disassembly is needed. This tray is listed for the US version (SM-S947U). UK and EU phones can use a different tray layout, so compare it with your old tray before buying.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S26+, and the model number starts SM-. This part is made for the SM-S947U.
The Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S25+ look alike. Check the model number: the S26+ starts SM-S947.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the device off.
- Push a SIM ejector pin into the small hole next to the tray and pull out the old tray or any broken pieces.
- Place your card(s) in the new tray with the gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in the right way round until it sits flush.
- Power on and check the SIM is detected.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
