How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone (on a tablet: Settings › About tablet). The model name should read Galaxy Tab S10+ and the model number SM-X820, SM-X826 or SM-X828.
The Tab S10+ has a 12.4-inch screen. The Tab S10 Ultra is larger and uses different internal parts.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the tablet off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the tablet carefully and disconnect the battery first.
- Remove any shields covering the flex and unplug both ends.
- Fit the new flex in the same route, pressing each connector home firmly.
- Reconnect the battery and test the fault is fixed before sealing.
- Refit shields, apply new adhesive and close the tablet evenly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
