What this part is
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a 14.6-inch display. The display is joined to the main board by a thin flex cable. If the tablet has been dropped, bent or opened before, this cable can crack or its connector can be damaged. The screen may then stay black, flicker or show lines while the tablet still sounds and vibrates.
This part replaces the flex cable only, not the screen itself. If the glass is cracked or the panel shows ink-like patches, the screen is at fault and a new flex cable will not help. A technician can test with a known-good screen or cable to confirm the fault first.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About tablet. The model name should read Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and the model number should be SM-X900. Compare your old cable with the photos before fitting.
The Tab S8 Ultra has a 14.6-inch screen with a notch for the front cameras. The Tab S8 and Tab S8+ are smaller. For the 5G version, compare your old cable with the photos first.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the tablet off completely.
- Warm the edges and open the tablet carefully with thin opening tools.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Unclip the old flex cable from the display and main board connectors.
- Fit the new cable, press each connector home and test the display before closing.
- Reseal the tablet with new adhesive and run a final check of display and touch.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra?
Yes, if Settings › About tablet shows Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with model number SM-X900. It does not fit the Tab S8 or Tab S8+.
Does it fit the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra?
No. The Tab S9 Ultra looks similar but it is a different tablet with a different internal layout. This cable is for the Tab S8 Ultra only.
Will a new flex cable fix a cracked screen?
No. The cable only carries the display signal. If the glass or panel itself is damaged, the screen needs replacing.
Is it made by Samsung?
