What this part is
The loudspeaker in the S20 FE 5G sits at the bottom of the phone next to the charging port. Water, dust or a drop can damage the speaker cone, so sound becomes muffled, rattles or stops completely.
This part replaces the loudspeaker module. It does not affect the earpiece you hold to your ear on normal calls. Before ordering, clean the speaker grille and check sound in Safe mode; if it is still bad, the speaker is the likely fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S20 FE 5G. The model number starts SM-G781B.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the phone and remove the SIM tray.
- Heat the back cover edges and remove the back cover.
- Unscrew the lower cover and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the old loudspeaker and seat the new one in the same position.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtone, media and speakerphone.
- Refit the covers and seal the back with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
