What this part is
The Galaxy S20 Ultra plays ringtones, alarms, speakerphone calls and media through a loudspeaker at the bottom of the phone. A drop, liquid or a blown speaker can make the sound quiet, distorted or silent.
This part replaces the bottom loudspeaker module. Before ordering, clean the speaker grille and check the sound with a different app, as a blocked grille or a software setting can cause similar problems. Call audio at the ear comes from the separate earpiece speaker.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The Model name should read Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. The Model number should read SM-G988B.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 6.9-inch screen and a 100x Space Zoom camera. The S20+ is smaller, with a 6.7-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G off and warm the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back cover carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the screws on the lower cover to reach the loudspeaker module.
- Lift out the old loudspeaker and seat the new one so its contacts line up.
- Reconnect the battery and play a ringtone and music at full volume before closing.
- Fit new back cover adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the Galaxy S20+?
No. The S20+ has a different loudspeaker. This part is listed for the S20 Ultra only.
Will it fix quiet call audio?
Only on speakerphone. When you hold the phone to your ear, sound comes from the earpiece speaker at the top, which is a different part.
