All ringtones, alarms, speakerphone calls and video sound on the Galaxy S21 FE come from one loud speaker at the bottom edge. Liquid, dust or a hard knock can damage its cone, so sound turns thin, buzzy or stops.
This module is a direct swap for the old speaker. First rule out a blocked grille, Do Not Disturb or a paired Bluetooth device, since these can silence the phone too.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The Model name should read Galaxy S21 FE 5G. The Model number should read SM-G990B.
The Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) came out in 2022 with a 6.4-inch screen. It is not the same phone as the S21 or S21+.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Galaxy S21 FE 5G off and warm the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back cover carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the screws and the speaker cover to reach the loudspeaker module.
- Lift out the old loudspeaker and seat the new one so its contacts line up.
- Reconnect the battery and test a ringtone, music and speakerphone before closing.
- Fit new back cover adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the Galaxy S21+?
No. The S21+ is larger and uses its own loudspeaker. We sell it as a separate listing.
Will it fix quiet calls at my ear?
No. Call audio at the ear comes from the earpiece speaker at the top of the phone. This part is the bottom loudspeaker.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker module made to fit the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back cover is glued and the battery must be disconnected before you reach the speaker.
