What this part is
The loudspeaker in the Galaxy S22 sits at the bottom of the phone, behind the speaker grille next to the USB-C port. Drops, water and wear can damage the speaker cone, which causes crackling, rattling or very low volume. On the Galaxy S22 this speaker works with the earpiece to give stereo sound, so a fault here often makes audio sound thin or one-sided.
Before you order, check the grille for dust or lint, try the phone in safe mode, and make sure the volume and Do Not Disturb settings are correct. If the sound is still poor, the speaker module needs replacing. Call audio through the earpiece is a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S22, and the model number should start SM-S901B. The model number is also printed on the phone's box.
The Galaxy S22 has a 6.1-inch flat screen and three rear cameras. The S22+ looks similar but has a larger 6.6-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass off with a suction cup and plastic picks.
- Remove the screws holding the lower cover and disconnect the battery.
- Lift out the old speaker module and clean the grille area of dust.
- Fit the new speaker, reconnect the battery and test ringtone and media sound.
- Refit the cover, apply new back adhesive and press the glass down evenly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. This is the bottom loudspeaker for ringtones, media and speakerphone. The small speaker at the top that you hold to your ear is the earpiece, which is sold separately.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker module made to fit the Samsung Galaxy S22, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back glass of the Galaxy S22 needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected before the speaker is changed.
