What this part is
The Galaxy S22+ is built with two boards: the motherboard near the cameras and a lower board by the USB-C port. This flex cable joins them, so a tear or damaged connector can cut off everything on the lower half of the phone.
A damaged main flex can cause no charging, no touch or display, missing sound from the bottom of the phone, or random restarts. The same symptoms can come from other parts, so it is worth having the phone checked by a technician first. Fitting needs the back glass removed and care with small connectors.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S22+, and the model number should start SM-S906B. The model number is also printed on the phone's box.
The Galaxy S22+ has a 6.6-inch flat screen and three rear cameras. The standard S22 is smaller, with a 6.1-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass off and remove the screws and covers over both ends of the flex.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unclip both ends of the old flex and peel it gently from the frame.
- Fit the new flex along the same path, press each connector home and reconnect the battery.
- Test charging, display, touch and sound, then refit the covers and seal the back glass.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Not reliably. The flex has many fine tracks, so a creased or torn cable is replaced rather than repaired. The new flex fits in the same path along the frame.
