The Galaxy S22 Ultra SIM tray sits in the bottom edge of the phone, beside the USB-C port and the S Pen slot. If the tray is bent or cracked, the SIM card may not make proper contact, which leads to "No SIM" messages or lost signal. A missing tray also leaves the slot open to dirt.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the model number should start SM-S908B. The model number is also printed on the phone's box.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.8-inch curved screen, a built-in S Pen and four rear cameras. The S23 Ultra looks very similar, so always check the model code.

- Switch the phone off.
- Insert a SIM ejector pin into the hole next to the tray on the bottom edge and press gently.
- Pull the old tray out and check the slot for broken pieces.
- Seat your nano-SIM cards in the new tray with the gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in straight until it is flush with the frame.
- Turn the phone on and confirm the SIM is detected.
